Hi, I go by the name Widowan!

I’m a student living in Moscow, Russia, and currently studying Software Engineering in university.

I work as a DevOps Engineer currently, but I also love programming: my main specialization is Java (with Spring Framework), although I also am familiar with and/or enjoy Rust, Python, Bash and Lua.

As comes with me being a DevOps Engineer, I also use Linux circa 2016, and know a fair bit of tools such as Docker, Ansible, etc.

I learned them all haphazardly while using Linux and being interested to try everything out while programming. It was probably faster to just do everything myself at that time, but the idea of automating everything was just too attractive.

I participated in multiple (although not notable) hackathons (university based ones).

My public work mainly consists of small(ish) programs and scripts and few patches (yet!).

I also love solving (grounded, not abstract) puzzles, so I do Advent of Code and Codewars sometimes!
